by Malcom Gladwell

Relates to Meeting 4: Shoot the Wounded part 2: No Time for Losers

The premise: little changes can have big effects; when small numbers of people start behaving differently, that behavior can ripple outward until a critical mass or "tipping point" is reached, changing the world. The World is Flat
by Thomas L. Friedman

Mentioned in Meeting 1: Cash Lightning Round

The World is Flat provides a very interesting view that establishes Thomas Friedman's view of globalization in the world today. It serves as a warning to Americans that the world is not the same place it used to be. No longer is America on top of the world in every aspect. As the world is becoming more interconnected, outsourcing is changing the world in every aspect.
